Yes, I have not been blogging like I’ve promissed a couple of posts ago (more than a year ago now..).
I don’t really have a very good reason other than my work got in the way and I have a wedding that I have been preparing for. I’ve averaged 40% overtime during the first half of this year and I only have one more weekend as a bachelor.
Anyways.. enough of that.. the real reason I’m blogging today…
The client I’m working for right now is currently in a labour dispute. What does that mean? Not much but it is facinating to see the process build up and eventually end up in a full scale walk out of the unionized workers. This place has been almost entirly ran by contractors and consultants during the last 3 months! Now that they have reached an agreement, I guess I will be able to witness the process of “business as usual” ramp up.
I must say, that being called a “Scap”, getting yelled at and given a finger here and ther really wasn’t all that fun.
I’m already looking forward to gaining access to the new supplies of pens after the clerk (who are all unionized staff) comes back with their keys to the supply cabinet!
