Training

by Mike

I’m currently involved in a massive training of business stake holders with the idea/concept of software engineering methodology. Of course we didn’t call it exactly that. We are having a pretty good responses so far. Which begs the question.. Is the engineering process usually not followed because the technical resources don’t like the documentation? Or is it the business stake holders that demand functional results more due to their lack of understanding of the process? I have an idea for a new methodology. Somewhat simplified and somewhat modified. Anyone interested in starting an online discussion around this? Comment here if you have tried numerous cycles of development with all the methodologies out there and still have not found a simple one that will help your organization with CMMi levels or just a simple methodology that has been followed from analysis all the way to the QA and release.
