I hate business travel.
Most often, company has a silly policy that forces you to stay out in the middle of nowhere. They make you take cabs rather than rent you a car… and on top of that, book you in a cheapest flight so you have a stupid 4 hour layover.
I can’t wait to get away from this living out of hotel room.

Yeah, to get from San Francisco to Dusseldorf, my ex-company had me taking 3-4 flights, each with crazy layover times. I think on that roundtrip I had spent in excess of two full days in transit on no less than 8 flights.
And am I somehow compensated for that time and hassle? No, of course not.
